About Schiavi

Schiavi's press brake business began in 1958, when brothers Vito and Giuseppe Schiavi started building sheet metal machines in collaboration with the French company Promecam; its Task division has developed CNC controls since 1984. In 2013 the Zinetti Technologies group took over Schiavi and founded Schiavi Macchine International.

In 2015 it presented the LineAr, whose patented design keeps the tool tables straight and parallel under load, and in 2021 it launched a hybrid line of press brakes that it says uses less energy and makes less noise.
