VICLA was founded in 2008 by Marcello Ballacchino and Corrado Nucci and, after a short time as an importer, has designed and built custom press brakes and shears since 2012 at Albavilla in Brianza.
It developed .SUPERIOR, which it calls the first hybrid press brake made in Italy, and in 2019 an automatic tool changer that serves two press brakes; it also builds tandem lines and robotic bending cells.
