About Ursviken

Ursviken started as a foundry and mechanical workshop in 1885 and built its first sheet metal machine, a combined shear and press brake, in 1902. Its press brakes are designed and built at the factory in Ursviken, northern Sweden.

The company introduced its Double Bed Reference (DBR) system in 1965, made CNC crowning standard in 1987 and patented the CNC Variable Die Tool in 1992. In 2021 it built what it calls the world's longest single press brake, 2,500 t over 20.8 m.
